Delmarva Hurricane Evacuation Study (HES) Draft Maps and Data

The maps and data listed below are provided for review by, and use of, Delmarva state, county and local emergency managers. The maps and tables (Adobe Acrobat format) and data can be downloaded for viewing and/or printing. Each county map shows the limits of potential tidal flooding from Categories 1 through 4 hurricanes based on the National Weather Service-National Hurricane Center's SLOSH Model.  Also included on each map is a table showing numbers of housing units potentially vulnerable to each category of hurricane tidal inundation.

As additional data is developed revised maps will be placed on this website. Please check the date embedded in the file name in order to determine if you have the most recent version for a particular county.

For the convenience of emergency managers, additional data and documents related to Delmarva Hurricane Evacuation Planning are included on this site.

Because the HES and the maps are works in progress and are subject to review and correction they are not meant for widespread distribution. If you have any questions about the maps please contact the Delmarva HES study manager:
