On Friday December 12th, crews finished placement of the six 150 foot main beams of the new Delaware City Bridge. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Philadelphia District and its contractor began demolition of the Route 9 bridge at Delaware City in October of 2016 and is now in the construction phase of bridge replacement (Photo by Tim Boyle).
