  • Celebrate “Get Outdoors Day” at Blue Marsh Lake

    National Get Outdoors Day at Blue Marsh Lake will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Berks County Parks & Recreation Department will offer a full day of outdoor activities from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Dry Brooks Day Use Area. More than 35 clubs and organizations will be on site to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day and Get Outdoors PA.

    PHILADELPHIA (JUNE 5, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Philadelphia District was recently recognized with the North Atlantic Division Commanding General's Safety Award of Excellence for its ongoing commitment to a safe and healthy work environment. The District is now under consideration for nationwide safety honors.
  • Army Corps to host flood proofing workshops in Ambler

    PHILADELPHIA (June 5, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting two public workshops on the use of nonstructural measures for reducing flood risk to residential, commercial and public property. The meetings will be held on June 22 and June 24 at the Daniel Dowling Legion Post in Ambler, PA.
