The applicant proposes to perform hydraulic maintenance dredging on a portion of the waters located within the marina and perform new dredging waterward of the previous dredging, where a shoal has formed. Approximately 0.75 acres of maintenance dredging would be performed and approximately 0.6 acres of dredging associated with the shoal removal would be performed at the site. The excavated material, composed primarily of silt and sand would be transported via pipeline to the Shaw Island disposal site in the City of Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey.
