The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Philadelphia District has postponed St. Georges Bridge repair work due to inclement weather forecasted for the week of April 29. Work is now tentatively scheduled to be conducted from Monday May 6 through Saturday May 11 during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Both lanes of the bridge will remain open during the project; however a lane shift through the bike lane will be enacted. Flaggers will be on hand to halt vehicular traffic to allow bicyclists safe passage when necessary.
