Major Bryan R. Fisher

Major Bryan R. Fisher serves as the USACE Philadelphia Deputy District Commander. In this role, he serves as second-in-command of a District that spans roughly 13,000-square-miles and encompasses more than eight million people within the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and New York.

Major Fisher is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi and commissioned as an Engineer Officer through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Jackson State University in 2012. He most recently served as an Army Congressional Fellow in Washington, DC where he was assigned as the Defense Fellow in the office of Senator John Cornyn (TX); a Legislative Liaison in the Personnel and Medical Branch, Programs Division, Office of the Chief Legislative Liaison; and the Legislative Assistant to the Under Secretary of the Army.

His other previous assignments include Special Assistant to the 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (Washington, DC); Company Commander, Battalion Assistant Operations Officer, and Battalion Plans Officer in the 317th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Fort Polk, Louisiana); Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General of the South Atlantic Division, United States Army Corps of Engineers (Atlanta, Georgia); Project Engineer with Joint Task Force-Bravo (Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras); and Engineer Platoon Leader and Battalion Intelligence Officer in the 94th Engineer Battalion, 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 1st Infantry Division (Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri).

His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Jackson State University (Jackson, Mississippi) and a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts). He is a certified Project Management Professional.

His military awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2 OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal (6 OLC), Parachutist Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault Badge, Sapper Tab, and Army Staff Identification Badge. Major Fisher is a recipient of the Bronze Order of the de Fleury Medal.

His hobbies include CrossFit, playing tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
