Philadelphia Stream Restoration Workshop

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Philadelphia District and the Philadelphia Water Department restored habitat and reduced combined sewage overflow by constructing the Cobbs Creek (Indian Creek) Habitat Restoration project. The project involved removing approximately 700 feet of stream from a culvert, a practice known as daylighting.
