The Dredge Essex is positioned to begin dredging operations near the Mercer County, NJ power plant on the Delaware River in November of 2013. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Philadelphia District and its contractor Norfolk Dredging Company completed maintenance dredging on the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Trenton in December of 2013.
