The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Philadelphia District and the Philadelphia Water Department celebrated the completion of the daylighting of the Indian Creek as part of the Cobbs Creek Watershed Habitat Restoration during an April 25, 2014 event. The event was attended by Congressman Bob Brady, Army Corps staff, city and state officials, community groups, and contractors. USACE Philadelphia District Commander Lt. Col. Chris Becking (speaking) said the project is a strong example of partnership and innovation.
