Blue Marsh Lake property consists of 6200 acres of water and land resources including grasslands and meadow habitat for tree swallows and a variety of other birds. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has partnered with organizations and volunteers on best land management practices that benefit wildlife such as installing nesting boxes and maintaining open field spaces.
