Monarch and Milkweed
Monarch butterflies conduct cross-continental journeys upwards of 3,000 miles every year to over-wintering locations. Milkweed plants (Asclepias) are a vital host plant for Monarchs as they require the plant to provide food and shelter throughout all of their life stages.
