Mr. Michael Connor, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, speaks with Maj. Gen. Jason Kelly, USACE Deputy Commanding General for Civil Works and Emergency Operations in front of the Dredge McFarland during a visit to Philadelphia on Sept. 17, 2024. During the visit, Mr. Connor and Maj. Gen. Kelly met with the USACE Marine Design Center and the USACE Philadelphia District to discuss the ongoing design of a new hopper dredge to replace the McFarland.
