Boating is a year-round activity, especially when milder winter seasons produce little to no ice on the lake. Remember, November 1st – April 30th is Mandatory Life Jacket Wear Season in Pennsylvania for all non-motorized boats. Cold water temperatures increase your risk of drowning from cold water shock and immersion.
