PHILADELPHIA (October 10, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps Engineers’ Philadelphia District will host a public meeting to review the 2017 Francis E. Walter Dam recreation plan and solicit feedback for next year’s plan.
The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the White Haven Area Community Library at 121 Towanda St, White Haven, PA 18661. Organizational leadership is encouraged to attend and provide recommendations and feedback.
During the 2017 season, USACE held numerous fisheries enhancement water releases and 24 whitewater releases.
