PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Philadelphia District announced today upcoming lane closures will be implemented along Summit Bridge in New Castle County, Delaware to enable routine maintenance, including steel repairs and painting activities.
Currently, lane closures are estimated to begin in mid-May and occur periodically throughout the summer as bridge repairs are completed. Lane closures will be temporarily removed for holiday weekends and during periods when closures are not needed for construction activities. Lane closure updates will be reported to the Delaware Department of Transportation.
