The U.S. Army Corps Engineers Philadelphia District announced it does not have enough water storage to hold a whitewater release Sept. 2 from the Francis E. Walter Dam.

Army Corps adds September whitewater release to schedule

The U.S. Army Corps Engineers Philadelphia District announced it has enough water storage to hold a whitewater release Sept. 1 from the Francis E. Walter Dam. The release will be 650 cubic feet per second plus inflow up to 850 cubic feet per second.

Army Corps to hold ribbon cutting ceremony at Prompton Dam

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Philadelphia District will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Aug. 22 at Prompton Dam. The ceremony recognizes the completion of a two-phase construction project which included modifying the dam spillway, building an operations center and maintenance garage and constructing a new access road and spillway bridge to the dam
