The applicant, Sunoco Partners Marketing and Terminals, proposes to perform maintenance dredging of three berthing areas to their Docks 2, 3, and 4, including 10 years of maintenance dredging.The proposed dredging is located at the Hog Island Wharf at 11 Hog Island Road, within the Delaware River at River Mile 89.6, approximately one mile downstream of the Philadelphia County - Delaware County boundary in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The dredged material would be loaded into a watertight barge and transported to either Whites Basin or Biles Island. Whites Basin is the preferred disposal location and is located in Logan Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. More details are available in the "Public Notice & Plan Details" attachment.
