The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers proposes to reissue Department of the Army New Jersey State Programmatic General Permit-19 (SPGP-19), initially issued on March 23, 1984, authorizing certain existing and proposed piers, docks, mooring piles, boat lifts, breakwaters, and the replacement of existing serviceable bulkhead structures in navigable waters of the United States in the State of New Jersey. The proposed reissuance of SPGP-19 includes several minor clarifications, format changes and overall
reorganization of the permit. Additional details are available in the attached "Public Notice" and "Sample NJSPGP-19" documents. Public comments are due by June 7, 2019.
