The applicant, Township of Little Egg Harbor, proposes to perform township-wide mechanical maintenance dredging, with an environmental clam-shell bucket, of up to 436,700 cubic yards over a 10-year period from several lagoons, channels and marinas along Great Bay, Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton Creek within Little Egg Harbor Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey. The location of the upland stockpile and re-handling area for dredged material is the Township’s Public Works yard (leaf composting area), where dredged material would be stockpiled and mixed with leaf compost for distribution to various properties throughout the Township.
