The stated purpose of the project is to maintain sufficient water depths for vessel dockage and safe navigation within the Borough of Avalon’s private vessel slip and access channel network.

    Expiration date: 7/3/2025

    Lighthouse Pointe Marina Condominium Association proposes to undertake 10-year mechanical maintenance dredging in Grassy Sound at 5100 Shawcrest Road in Lower Township, NJ 08260 (38.989346°, -74.836298). Dredging would be to maintain a depth of -6’ MLW within the 5.55 acre marina basin. Over the course of the 10-year authorization it is projected that the total quantity of dredged sediment would be a maximum of 43,484 cubic yards. The dredged material will be disposed of at Shaw Island CDF (Block 819, Lot 1.02, in Lower Township, Cape May County); and/or Surran's Soil Replenishment, LLC (Block 301, Lot 17, Corbin City, Atlantic County, NJ) for re-use within the existing nursery facility. The first dredging cycle is expected to begin in September of 2025. The stated purpose of this project is to maintain sufficient water depths for safe navigation and docking at the Lighthouse Pointe Marina.     Expiration date: 7/3/2025

    Thomas Heist V of HudBod, LLC proposes to undertake 10-year mechanical maintenance dredging and to remove, replace, and construct mooring structures at an existing marina located in Bass Harbor at 101 Longport Boulevard in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, NJ (formerly Graef Boat Yard). The total surface area of dock structures to be removed below HTL is approximately 7,107 S.F. +/- and the total surface area of proposed dock structures below HTL is approximately 8,088 S.F. +/-. Dredging would be to maintain a depth of -5’ MLW within the 1.09 acre area. The dredged material will be disposed of at Surran's Soil Replenishment, LLC (Block 301, Lot 17, Corbin City, Atlantic County, NJ) for re-use within the existing nursery facility. The stated purpose of this project is to replace and improve mooring structures and maintain sufficient water depths for safe navigation and docking at this existing marina.     Expiration date: 4/10/2025

    Waste Management of PA, Inc. proposes to undertake 10-year maintenance dredging in the Delaware River at the Fairless Hills Basin and berthing areas, which are located at 1121 Bordentown Road in Morrisville, Bucks County, PA (40.138968, -74.755288). Dredging would be to maintain a depth of -41’ MLW. Over the course of the 10-year authorization it is projected that the sediment quantity would total a maximum of 220,000 cubic yards from an 18-acre dredge footprint, and that a total of 5 dredging events would occur. Dredging will be completed using either the hydraulic or mechanical method, depending on equipment availability for each individual dredging cycle. All resultant dredged material would be disposed of at either Money Island CDF, located in Falls Township, PA (40.125943° N Longitude: -74.792385° W), or at Biles Island CDF, located in Falls Township, PA (40.175943° N, -74.749050° W). The first dredging cycle is expected to begin in the fall or winter of 2025 into 2026. The stated purpose of this project is to maintain sufficient water depths for safe navigation and docking at the Fairless Hills Basin and berthing areas.
