Each year, we dredge several million cubic yards of sediment from the Delaware River and Bay. We’re currently working with a contractor who is removing some of that sediment from our Fort Mifflin dredged material disposal site. Contractors work on replacing the deck of the St. Georges Bridge in New Castle County, Delaware. The approximately 18-month project includes demolishing and replacing the bridge decking, median barrier, as well as replaces the bridge approaches and roadways.
