The applicant, Delaware Department of Transportation, has applied for a Department of the Army permit to construct a new bypass route from US Route 113 to State Route 24 over Millsboro Pond in Millsboro, Sussex County, Delaware. The purpose of the project is to preserve mobility for local residents and businesses, while providing highway improvements that reduce congestion, decrease frequency and severity of accidents and accommodate increased traffic.
