The applicant, Olde Yankee Terminal Incorporated, has applied for an after-the-fact Department of the Army Permit (Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers & Harbor Act) to maintain fill material, construct/install a new steel bulkhead, and perform dredging activities at the Olde Yankee Terminal facility. The project is located in the waterway known as the Schuylkill River, on property identified as Olde Yankee Terminal, located at 6100 Passyunk Avenue, in the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. The purpose of the proposed project is to provide for the expansion of the facility, safer ingress and egress of construction vehicles accessing the facility, and overall improved operations at the Olde Yankee Terminal facility.
