LOCATION: Lat: 40.015781 N, Lon: -75.712674 W. The linear wetland is located along the south side of the US 30 Bypass, 1,650 feet west of the intersection of Creek Road and US 30 Bypass in Caln Township, Chester County, PA. ACTIVITY: The applicant proposes to install a 26 inch gas transmission line through wetland W400-PA via open cut trench method. This will entail clearing all vegetation from the right-of-way and the additional work space within W400-PA, striping and segregating the topsoil, opening the trench, welding the pipe string together, laying the pipe, back filling the trench, and lastly, placing the segregated top soil back over top of the entire work area. This will result in the temporary disturbance of 2.207 acre of W400-PA. Of the 2.207 acres of impact, 1.501 acres of W400-PA will be permanently maintained as right-of-way over the pipeline. This will result in the permanent conversion of this area from a Palustrine Forested (PFO) wetland to a Palustrine Emergent (PEM) wetland. There is no loss of overall wetland acreage, just the conversion from one type of wetland to another. Columbia has proposed that the remaining 0.706 acres of wetland will be allowed to regenerate naturally

The proposed project is located at 1501 North Albany Avenue, Atlantic City, Atlantic County, New Jersey. The applicant proposes to construct a docking system consisting of 18 linear feet of new vinyl sheet pile bulkhead within 24 inches of the existing bulkhead to match the existing vinyl bulkhead, construct a 15' x 18' concrete pad to match the existing concrete pad, construct two (2) 6' x 40' floating docks for the re-fueling area, construct a 3' x 30' ramp, a 6' x 35' floating dock and two (2) 6' x 120' floating docks with eight (8) 4' x30' finger piers, and eighteen (18) 5' x 14' jet ski floats. There will be sixteen (16) 10" x 40' piles associated with the proposed work. All materials utilized for improvements will be constructed of non-polluting materials.

The applicant proposes to modify the existing Pier 1A (originally approved by this office on 3 February 2004 under Department of the Army individual permit CENAP-OP-R-200300936). The proposed modification is the extension of 150 linear feet of new crane railway on top of the existing decking. The railway extension would require the placement of approximately nine (9) new 16 inch diameter concrete filled steel piles below the mean high water line and relocation of existing utilities on or within the deck surface but not below the water. Piles to be placed would include the discharge of a total of 7 cubic yards of poured concrete within 12.5 square feet of waterway below the high tide line.
