    The applicant, the Borough of Tuckerton in Ocean County, New Jersey, proposes to perform ten-year maintenance dredging of the following waterways within the Little Egg Harbor/Tuckerton Bay watershed, identified as Thompson's Creek, Paradise Cove Lagoons, Tuckerton Beach Lagoons, Tuckerton Creek, and Tuckerton Creek Lagoons. All resultant dredged material, estimated to total approximately 77,500-cubic yards of silt and sand, would be transported to temporary upland disposal sites for dewatering; with subsequent permanent upland offsite disposal. The stated purpose of the activity is to restore and maintain safe navigational depths for recreational and emergency vessels.     The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, proposes to reissue the Delaware State Programmatic General Permit-20 (SPGP-20), authorizing certain existing and proposed piers, docks, mooring piles, boat lifts, breakwaters, and the replacement of existing serviceable bulkhead structures in navigable waters of the United States within the geographic boundaries of the Philadelphia District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the State of Delaware. The reissuance and extension of this General Permit is being coordinated with other interested Federal agencies, the State of Delaware and the general public. This General Permit, CENAP-OP-R-SPGP20, was previously reissued on January 2, 1990, reissued on January 2, 1995, reissued on January 2, 2000, reissued on January 25, 2004, reissued on December 31, 2009, modified on September 2, 2010, and reissued December 31, 2014. The current SPGP-20 expires on December 31, 2019. More details are available in the "Public Notice" and "Working Draft" attachments. Public comments are due by Sept. 13, 2019.

    The applicant, PhilaPort, proposes to construct a temporary storage facility for imported/exported automobiles (i.e. roll-on/roll-off cargo) as a part of the Southport Marine Terminal. In order to construct the development, the applicant proposes to discharge fill material into 2.81 acres of federally regulated wetlands. The project site is located within the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard property, situated on the south side of Kitty Hawk Avenue, approximately 2,000 feet east of League Island Boulevard, in the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The applicant’s purpose, as stated in their application, is to “provide necessary parking and vehicle processing for roll on-roll off cargo being delivered to the new AutoPort facility at the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.     The applicant is seeking Department of the Army authorization to construct a 22-story residential building (Tower) with mixed use space on the ground floor and a parking garage (Garage) within a portion of the existing footprint of Pier 34 and a public access park and walkway (Park) with in-water habitat enhancements within a portion of the original Pier 35 footprint and interpier area between Piers 34 and 35. The sites are located at 735 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard along the west bank of the Delaware River in Philadelphia, PA.
