Dredging is proposed in 3 different waterways within Barnegat Bay, Ocean County, New Jersey. The course grained dredged material would be disposed on the Barnegat Light House State Park and the fine grained material within a confined disposal facility located on the Oyster Creek Excelon property in Lacey Township, Ocean County, New Jersey (see Enclosure 1-3).

Becker of Harborside Development III, LLC, has applied for a 10-year maintenance dredging permit. The applicant proposes to conduct hydraulic maintenance dredging to a depth of -4’ MLW in 8 boat slips measuring approximately 5,600 square feet at the Inn at Canal Square adjacent to the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal, Lewes, Sussex County, Delaware. The dredged material will be hydraulically pumped to an existing confined upland disposal site located at the western end of Anglers Road. The dimensions of the structures are indicated on the attached plans identified as E-1 through E-4.
