    The applicant, Township of Little Egg Harbor, proposes to perform township-wide mechanical maintenance dredging, with an environmental clam-shell bucket, of up to 436,700 cubic yards over a 10-year period from several lagoons, channels and marinas along Great Bay, Little Egg Harbor and Tuckerton Creek within Little Egg Harbor Township, in Ocean County, New Jersey. The location of the upland stockpile and re-handling area for dredged material is the Township’s Public Works yard (leaf composting area), where dredged material would be stockpiled and mixed with leaf compost for distribution to various properties throughout the Township.     The applicant, New Jersey Department of Transportation – Office of Maritime Resources, has requested Department of the Army authorization to perform ten (10)-year maintenance dredging of five (5) channels within Barnegat Bay (Toms River Township Ocean County, N.J.), identified as the Toms River North State Channel Complex: Andrews Point Channel, Silver Bay Channel, Silver Bay Entrance Channel, Pier One Channel, and Bay Shore Bridge Channel. The stated purpose of this project is to restore and maintain safe navigational depths for transiting recreational and emergency vessels in Barnegat Bay.More details are available in the "Public Notice & Plan Details" document.     The applicant, United States Navy, proposes to mechanically perform maintenance dredging of approximately 150,000 cubic yards of sediment from the west berth (downstream) of Pier 4 Philadelphia Naval Yard Annex, Broad Street, City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A total area of 9.2 acres of riverbottom adjacent to the Pier 4 would be dredged. The applicant's stated purpose for the dredging is to maintain appropriate water depths for the maneuvering and berthing of naval vessels.     The applicant, New Jersey Department of Transportation – Office of Maritime Resources, has requested Department of the Army authorization to perform ten (10)-year maintenance dredging of three (3) channels within Barnegat Bay, identified as the Berkeley Shores State Channel Complex: Berkeley Shores North Channel, Berkeley Shores Channel, and Berkeley Shores Spur Channel. All of the work would be accomplished via hydraulic cutterhead dredge or mechanical bucket dredge. The stated purpose of this project is to restore and maintain safe navigational depths for transiting recreational and emergency vessels in Barnegat Bay. The project begins within an area of the Delaware River located near River Mile Marker 76, in New Castle County, Delaware, and extends into Oldmans Creek just west the U.S. Route 130 Bridge, in Oldmans and Logan Townships, Salem and Gloucester Counties, New Jersey.
